Business goals:
Design & build a website for IST staff which functions as an on-line employee handbook, providing all necessary information & resources to manage day-to-day operations in the organization including documents, forms, manuals, business process supporting documents (How Tos), communications, tools, and templates.
The staff web portal must:
- efficiently and effectively organize and deliver essential information and resources to staff
- provide ongoing organizational communications to staff
- be easy to maintain by non-technical staff in order to ensure that it contains up-to-date, relevant, high quality content because there was no web team to manage it
- create a sense of belonging and community
